I was at a wee meeting held by a friend
They told of the Lord who came from above
And that each one of us he really does love
And that he was nailed to Calvary's tree
That we from sin might be set free
By the end of the night down in prayer
And was set free from sin right then and there
I went home that night with real joy in my heart
And to all of my family the good news did impart
So if you desire real peace within
Just open your heart and let Jesus in
